I was wondering, I am going to buy some aviator sunglasses and I have heard that the mirror lenses are extremely dark and hard to see through. Is this true? Also I really want mirror lenses, are there alternatives to mirrors that have the same look but may be easier to see through.
Yes I have found that mirror lenses are harder to see through. On a overcast day I would suggest having a backup pair here are 7 pairs of aviators with out mirror lens http://www.sunglassit.com/Discount_sunglasses_s/21.htm. If you do get a pair with the mirror lenses get some with out for the days when it’s not so bright out.
